Join us for Stories That Live Here, a vibrant exhibition celebrating the strength of Aboriginal women artists, the stories of Country, and the enduring connection between art, language and culture.
The exhibition brings together three distinct artistic voices, each sharing their own cultural perspectives, creative practices and connection to Country.
The exhibition launch will also celebrate the release of two new Gumbaynggirr language resources:
- Adventures at My Nanny’s House, written by Dallas Gittins (Gumbaynggirr and Dunghutti) and illustrated by Dakotah Ballangarry (Gumbaynggirr).
- Yarn & Learn: Gumbaynggirr Animal Cards, created by Dallas Gittins (Gumbaynggirr and Dunghutti) and illustrated by Arkanna Donnelly (Gumbaynggirr).
