This is the SWFW Zine.
Written by the Saltwater Freshwater Arts Alliance crew, designed by the legendary Tony Halpin, and published four times a year, it’s our way of celebrating Aboriginal art, culture, creativity and community—without taking ourselves too seriously.
Inside you’ll find artist spotlights, festival moments, youth voices, playlists, poetry, comics, memes, puzzles, competitions, behind-the-scenes stories and everything happening across Saltwater Freshwater Arts Alliance, The Gallery and the National Aboriginal Design Agency.
This Zine is made for Gumbaynggirr, Dunghutti, Biripi and Worimi communities—but everyone’s welcome to have a read.
