Made Deadly is an innovative music project aimed at unearthing and supporting Aboriginal talent on the Mid North Coast of NSW.
Developed by the Saltwater Freshwater team in collaboration with music development organisation, Grow the Music, Made Deadly offers the opportunity for Aboriginal musicians and performers living in the Gumbaynggirr, Dunghutti, Biripi and Worimi communities to showcase their talent and possibly be selected to perform at the annual Saltwater Freshwater Festival.
Open-mic sessions are offered through the region with eight finalists being selected to be mentored and rehearsed by the Grow the Music team to perform on the main stage of the Festival.
