A unique poetry workshop focused on the power of coming together as a community to share, create and express through the written word.

Proudly presented by Saltwater Freshwater Arts Alliance this immersive workshop aims to encourage cultural expression and highlight the living cultures of the Gumbaynggirr, Dunghutti, Biripi, and Worimi Nations—the traditional custodians of this region.
This workshop will emphasise the collective strength found in storytelling as participants connect through poetry to explore common experiences, shared heritage and the beauty of working together.
Find your creative expression while honouring the cultural significance of storytelling and connection to Country. Participants will contribute to a collective poetic expression.
With roots in community and a vision for the future, Saltwater Freshwater’s continued Programs is a powerful reminder that First Nations culture is not just history—it’s living, evolving, and thriving.
