About The Festival

Since 2010 Saltwater Freshwater Festival has established itself as a much-loved showcase of Aboriginal culture, skills, lifestyle and culinary talents to a wide demographic.

It provides an authentic Aboriginal experience for visitors and local communities, and offers vibrant, meaningful, positive, family-friendly activities for the community to enjoy.

Each festival attracts Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people from the Mid North Coast of NSW and further afield to participate and benefit from volunteering, mentoring and work opportunities.

We are excited to announce our 2024 Festival will be held on Dunghutti Country on Saturday 1st June 2024.
