Yarn & Learn: Gumbaynggirr Animal Cards

Yarn & Learn: Gumbaynggirr Animal Cards is a language resource created by Dallas Gittins and beautifully illustrated by Arkanna Donnelly (Gumbaynggirr).

Designed for children, families, educators and community groups, the card pack introduces Gumbaynggirr animal names through vibrant illustrations, language and pronunciation guides. Each card encourages interactive learning through games, storytelling and everyday conversations, helping to build confidence with Gumbaynggirr language in a playful, accessible and culturally meaningful way.

Whether used at home, in classrooms or within community settings, the cards provide an engaging resource for people of all ages to connect with Gumbaynggirr language and support its ongoing revitalisation for future generations.
